Understand the principles behind differentiated instruction. Apply current research and reflect on the impact of culture, socioeconomic class, and gender on teaching and learning. Analyze classroom scenarios and modify lessons using strategies appropriate for content, multiple intelligences, and learning styles of diverse learners. Demonstrate techniques for differentiating content, process, and product based on student readiness, interest, and learning profile. Implement differentiated instructional strategies and demonstrate appropriate planning considerations, guidelines, and procedures to establish a positive learning environment.. Critically analyze personal classroom practices and viewpoints regarding differentiation. Apply essential principles of differentiation and varied assessments to measure students’ mastery of the same essential concepts in different ways. |
